Bloom Series
Soft green, blush and neutral tones layered with organic marks. A gentle, grounded walk through a remembered garden. The natural companion to Golden Equilibrium for anyone collecting a pair. Arrives in her oak float frame, and the price includes it.
Garden Path began with the memory of moving through a garden rather than the idea of painting one. I was thinking about fragments of colour, leaves, light and the way certain places stay with us without being remembered exactly. I built the work through layers of soft green, blush and neutral tones, allowing organic marks to appear and disappear as the surface developed. I didn’t want it to become a literal landscape, but to hold the feeling of one. I want the viewer to notice the quieter details and the way the different marks seem to lead the eye through the painting. For me, the work is about memory, movement and the small traces of nature that remain long after a particular place has faded.
