Fire and calm sit in conversation across the pair, with terracotta, sage and warm earth tones layered into ridges that feel almost carved into the surface. Built slowly through texture, scraping and softened edges, the two works balance energy with restraint, each holding its own while becoming stronger together. Raking light catches the raised surface, bringing out the depth, shadows and tactile detail. Grounded and architectural, they sit beautifully in living rooms, entries and spaces with stone, timber or natural finishes.
Earth Echoes I and II have found a home. Commissions are open if you would love a pair like them.

Original acrylic and mixed media on canvas, signed R Solsky, with a certificate of authenticity. Hang away from direct sunlight and damp, and dust gently with a soft dry cloth.

Collect from my studio in Newport
Simply choose the PICKUP tab at checkout to collect from my Newport studio. This lets me know you do not need my help with freight or an installation supplier. There is no charge for this option. I will contact you to arrange the day, time and exact location that best suits you.
