Scape Series
Sunset at Dusk captures that brief moment when the warmth of the day is still present but the light is beginning to fall away. Layers of gold, umber and soft copper move across the surface, with quieter marks emerging beneath the warmer tones and giving the work a sense of depth and atmosphere. I wanted it to feel like a memory of light rather than a literal landscape, something familiar but slightly unresolved. The copper accents shift subtly as the light changes, bringing a gentle luminosity to the surface.
She sits beautifully above a console, in a hallway, study or smaller living space, where her warmth can quietly lift the room without overpowering it. An easy scale and an easy price.

Collect from my studio in Newport
